Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled VDC/BIM Coordinator to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and will be responsible for managing the coordination process on assigned mechanical and plumbing projects. This role involves ensuring models are clash-free, deliverables are on schedule, and communication between disciplines is clear and effective.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
Develop and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify and resolve clashes and conflicts in the models.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM-related tools and processes.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience with BIM in the construction industry
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, etc.
Strong understanding of MEP construction processes and methodologies
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
