The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance processes related to our suppliers. This role aims to ensure that all supplied materials and components meet the required quality standards and specifications, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for supplier quality management.
Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with ISO standards and company specifications.
Lead corrective action processes to address quality issues with suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with suppliers to develop performance metrics and monitor their quality performance.
Utilize data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in supplier performance.
Support assembly engineering and injection molding processes to ensure quality standards are met.
Provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
Proven experience in supplier quality management or quality assurance roles.
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
