Who you are:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a preference towards mechanical/materials/plastics/polymers.
5+ years experience in project management with a proven track record in driving projects to completion in a timely manner.
PMP certification preferred but not required.
Previous experience working in a regulated production environment required and familiar with standards such as ISO, GMP
CAD experience required, Solidworks preferred
Experience in plastics hands-on processes, including extrusion, injection molding, and thermoforming preferred.
Knowledge of thermoplastic raw materials (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE) preferred
What you will be doing:
Champions the execution of engineering projects including the installation of capital equipment.
Evaluates and selects manufacturing equipment to best suit the organization's application.
Provides project management services on complex projects.
Participates as team member on all projects and provides technical expertise.
Functions as Project Manager and Team Lead, as necessary.
Assists and mentors other Project Engineers by proofreading their technical documents and guiding them through writing Project concepts and scopes, reviewing data, and reviewing technical summaries.
Documents efforts through daily journal entries, sketches, drawings, and reports.
Executes engineering change orders concurrent with any product or process changes.
Utilizes available computer software for development, project documentation, and analysis.
Provides technical resources in problem solving efforts.
Performs all other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager of Engineering
