Mechanical Project Manager

Position Overview
The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and technical knowledge in mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and boilers, particularly in data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, construction, and maintenance to deliver project objectives.
Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations in alignment with project goals.
Conduct regular project meetings to communicate progress, address challenges, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Review and approve project designs and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Manage procurement processes for mechanical systems and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in construction or data center projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and boiler systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
