We offer a collegial atmosphere valuing each member of the team. We are looking for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team!
We have a manageable billable hour requirement with the opportunity for hybrid work with some days in-office and some days remote. We provide in-house CLEs at least quarterly on topics that apply to civil litigation. We emphasize the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
-Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
-Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
-Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
-Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
-Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy and management.
-Manage and prioritize a caseload of litigation matters.
-Participate in settlement negotiations and dispute resolution.
Qualifications:
-License to practice law in Colorado;
-In good standing with all Bars;
-Current residence in Colorado or set plans for relocation;
-Excellent writing skills;
-Effective research abilities utilizing Westlaw and other online sources;
-Strong communication abilities;
-Attention to detail and the drive to engage in a legal practice.
