We are seeking an experienced Credit Auditor to join our team in New York City! In this role, you will oversee and conduct internal audits within the U.S., concentrating on credit and lending activities. Additionally, you will engage in ongoing monitoring efforts and assess the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute audits in line with audit policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
Draft audit reports, present findings to management, and develop practical recommendations.
Maintain complete and accurate work papers, and occasionally review the work of others.
Contribute to improvements in the audit process and efficiency, including data-driven approaches.
Monitor and execute validation testing of assigned audit and regulatory findings.
Perform continuous monitoring activities to identify key changes and emerging risks.
Develop effective and trusted relationships with management.
Perform other duties, special projects, and reviews as assigned.
Qualifications:
5+ years of audit experience in banking, and credit/lending
Experience working with foreign bank organizations (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
Bonus: CPA, CIA, CAMS, CISA, or equivalent
