Who you are:
3+ years experience inspecting in Aerospace/Defense industry
Experience with first article, in process and final inspection
CMM programming knowledge/experience
What you will be doing:
Conduct all levels of product inspections using a variety of inspection instruments and equipment (CMM, micrometers, calipers, parallels, sine bars, height masters, optical comparator, Johnson gauges, etc.)
Perform both detailed, assembly-level drawings with appropriate supporting documentation verifying actual results against drawing and/or specification requirements.
Verify supplier approval status and certifications against drawing and/or specification requirements for accuracy and completeness.
Correctly read and interpret detailed, assembly-level drawings and customer specifications.
Use shop mathematical calculations relative to the complexity of the project (e.g., tolerance stack-ups, calculations for areas, angles, lengths, etc.)
Work closely with customer representatives during source inspections and audits.
Execute formal first article reports to AS9102 standards.
