Position Overview
The Estimator will play a crucial role in our construction team, responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring that all proposals meet client specifications and budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and demonstrate a keen eye for detail and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary budgeting data.
Prepare and present detailed estimates to clients and stakeholders for review and approval.
Monitor and update estimates as project specifications change or evolve.
Research and source materials, labor, and subcontractor costs to ensure competitive pricing.
Provide support during the bid process and assist in negotiations with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an estimator in commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
