Position Overview:
We are a leading Electrical Contractor specializing in residential, commercial and industrial projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality results and fostering a collaborative work environment. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze project specifications and blueprints to provide accurate cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed electrical estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant data.
Identify and quantify all materials and labor required for electrical installations.
Develop and maintain cost databases for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
Prepare bid proposals and present findings to management.
Assist in value engineering and alternative solutions to meet project budgets.
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is a PLUS.
Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry (3+ years).
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction processes.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
