Electrical Controls Engineer

Position Overview
The Electrical Controls Engineer will design, develop, and implement control systems for various industrial applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems in packaging and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical control systems for packaging machinery and automation processes.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.
Create and review electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD.
Integrate sensors and vision systems into automated processes.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Provide technical support during installations, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley and Omron systems.
Experience with HMI design and implementation.
Familiarity with motion control systems and robotics, including gantry systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical schematic design.
Solid understanding of C and SQL programming languages.
Experience with sensors and vision systems for automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
