Digital Systems Engineer

Position Overview
The Digital Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing complex digital systems and simulations, ensuring integration with existing engineering processes and tools. The role demands a strong understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while adhering to security protocols and standards.

This role is in support of a DoD mission critical program and requires an ACTIVE TOP SECRET security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Work on a cross-functional team to develop cutting edge software solutions for DoD mission critical programs of record, ranging from C2 to intel to acquisition.
Apply knowledge of model-based languages such as UML and SysML.
Design and develop digital systems and models using MBSE methodologies.
Utilize CAMEO for modeling and simulation tasks.
Collaborate with systems engineers to ensure requirements are accurately captured and verified.
Conduct simulations to validate system performance and reliability.
Integrate and optimize systems using tools like MagicDraw, Rhapsody, and Sparx Enterprise Architect.
Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture and design.
Provide support in the development and implementation of DevSecOps practices.
Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Strong knowledge of modeling and simulation tools, specifically Cameo.
Familiarity with digital engineering concepts and principles.
Experience with SysML and other modeling frameworks.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
