Sr Process Controls Engineer

Position Overview

We are a leading custom manufacturer of API's (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) for our customers in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Sr Process Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems for industrial processes. This role requires expertise in PLC and DCS systems, with a strong emphasis on Allen Bradley and Foxboro. The engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure process efficiency, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control strategies for process automation systems using Allen Bradley and Foxboro DCS
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate control systems with existing processes and systems.
Monitor and analyze system performance, conducting troubleshooting and optimization as needed.
Develop and maintain process control documentation, including system architecture diagrams, control narratives, and standard operating procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams on control system issues.
Lead projects related to control system upgrades and improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in process controls engineering, with a focus on PLC and DCS systems.

- DeltaV
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in an API manufacturing environment
