Senior Tax Accountant

Position Overview
The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for providing expert tax advice and preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts, and corporations. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to navigate complex tax scenarios to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts, and corporations.
Advise clients on tax strategies and compliance issues, ensuring adherence to regulations.
Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance and recommendations.
Assist in the development of tax planning strategies to minimize client tax liabilities.
Review work prepared by junior tax accountants and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients' tax strategies.
Maintain and build client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Experience with tax preparation software such as CCH.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
