Job Title: Senior Project Accountant
Location: Ventura, CA (*other locations available in California)

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Project Accountant who is skilled in government contract bidding for transit projects in California. Our ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience as an Accountant, with 3+ years of experience dealing directly with Caltrans contracts.
Position Overview: The Senior Project Accountant is responsible for overseeing all accounting needs related to contracts/subcontracts for Caltrans and transit projects. They will be the primary finance contact point with government organizations (DCAA) and be responsible for preparing, submitting, and negotiating Forward Pricing Rate Agreements and the annual incurred cost submission to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (FAR, CAS). Proficiency in managing competitive bidding processes for Local and State Government contracts will be necessary for this role.
