We have offices throughout the United States and are looking to add a skilled Electrical Engineer/PM in our Boston, MA and Atlanta, GA offices!
This role is responsible for effectively developing and managing project designs from initial concept through design documents, construction documents and close-out. They will be the primary electrical lead with managing outside sub-consultant architects, engineers and vendors, and responsible for managing schedules and budgets for multiple projects. They will also be responsible for overseeing and contributing towards electrical designs in Revit including schematic design, design development, and construction documents; in addition to preparing backup documentation to support design efforts such as load calculations, voltage drop calculations, lighting power density, and lighting illumination levels. It is imperative that this individual has a professional engineering license as they may be required to act as the Engineer of Record on some projects.
Must have at least 10+ years of experience with:
- Electrical System Design (Revit)
- Creating Schematic Designs for Commercial Projects
- Engineering Consulting in MEP Building Design Industry
- Medium & Low Voltage Systems & Power Distribution Systems
- Building and Energy Codes (IBC, IECC, NEC)
Must have 5+ years of experience:
- Mission Critical/Data Center Design
- Project Management
- Electrical Team Lead
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or similar field is required.
Professional Engineering (P.E.) License is required. LEED certified is preferred.
Compensation: $140-170k base DOE
