The Remote Tax Senior position is a unique opportunity to provide tax services to clients from a remote location. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of federal and state tax laws and be able to meet tight deadlines. The Remote Tax Senior will provide tax preparation and filing services, tax planning, and tax consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review various federal and state tax returns and reports for individuals and corporations
• Analyze financial information, identify necessary tax adjustments, and provide recommendations to clients regarding tax savings
• Develop strategies for reducing tax liabilities
• Stay current with changing tax laws and regulations
• Advise clients on best practices for tax compliance
• Provide tax advice and support in the event of an audit
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients via phone, email, or video conference
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and filing
• Strong understanding of both Federal and State tax laws and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
• CPA or EA certification preferred
