We are a premier architectural millwork manufacturing and installation company serving the greater Northern Virginia/Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD market. We work with the top national and regional general contractors and architects on commercial projects throughout the NoVA/DC/Baltimore metro area.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will plan and oversee the building process of architectural millwork construction projects from start to finish. Projects are generally located in the NoVA/DC/Baltimore metro market with top national and regional commercial general contractors. The ideal candidate possesses keen attention to detail, has a deep understanding of construction methods and processes, and can manage multiple jobs in various stages of construction.
-Analyze job requirements, define project scope, and develop project timelines for submittals, fabrication, and installation.
-Coordinate and monitor project progress to ensure customer expectations are met and projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.
-Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
-Review and approve all shop drawings prior to client review. Update shop drawings accordingly based on client feedback.
-Negotiate and manage subcontractors as applicable.
Qualifications and Requirements:
-4+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with a focus on custom millwork, casework, and cabinetry projects.
-Associate's or Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering preferred
-Knowledge of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) standards.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
-Experience with blueprint and project management software.
-An understanding of the fabrication and installation process of architectural millwork products.
