Job Title: Medical Collector
Location: Tustin, CA
Hourly: $25/hrly + Quarterly Bonus OTE: $65,000 - $90,000+
Responsibilities: Medical Collections (Reimbursement/Insurance/Hospital)
We are an innovative healthcare services provider offering cutting edge cancer screening to patients in critical need.
This newly added role is part of our finance team and has a lucrative bonus incentive for skilled medical collectors. This is not a traditional medical collector's role, we do not collect from patients but payors, health plans. We are a mission-based organization and in this dynamic role, everything you do is in the best interest of our clients the patients.
What you will be doing:
As a critical part of our finance team you will be working with multiple internal teams such as sales.
Advocating for our patients and coordinating payments from insurance companies and hospitals.
Contacting clients to access patient medical records as needed, preparing letters of interest and appeal for medical insurance carriers and managed care providers.
Negotiating reimbursements with third parties and insurance companies.
Receive bonuses quarterly based on performance.
Responsibilities:
3+ years of applicable experience in medical collections
High School Diploma or GED
Associate's degree or greater - a plus!
