Title: Manufacturing Design Engineer
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Compensation: $80,000-$120,000/year
We offer custom and innovative metal products and assemblies to a handful of industries including automotive, medical, office, trucking, agriculture and so much more!
- Use a CAD system and other computer programs, be able to create process drawings for products particular to customers as well as comprehensive Manufacturing Process Instructions for usage in the shop
- Develop Manufacturing Process Improvement documents for the company
- Read and interpret customer prints
- Use ERP System mfg software prgram
- Sit in lean manufacturing meetings and support 5 "S" best practices
- Follow safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, and Microsoft
- Metal stamping and/or Fabrication and/or welding experience
