Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Requirements: General litigation experience, trial experience
Location: Orange County or San Francisco (100% remote)
Salary: $160-250k + bonus
Our client is an AV Rated law firm with offices in Orange County and the San Francisco Bay Area. Their clientele is broad and varied, ranging from banks and credit unions to investors and residential and commercial landlords. Although a smaller firm, they are well-known in the industry with an outstanding reputation.
The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of experience with landlord-tenant and lender defense litigation, handling all cases from start to trial. However, other areas of law that could be transferrable to what we do include:
- construction defect law
- land use and development rights
- bankruptcy matters
- consumer or commercial lender transactional work
- real estate credit background rights
- business litigation
This position is hybrid in either one of our Aliso Viejo or San Rafael offices. This position also has the potential to become a non-equity partner for the right candidate.
- 7+ years of experience
- Juris Doctor and member of California Bar in good standing
- Trial experience
- Landlord-tenant or real estate or lender defense litigation experience
- Own Book of business
- Comprehensive knowledge of California Civil Process.
- Not required, but major plus: knowledge of most recent state and federal laws pertaining to lender foreclosures and evictions, such as local ordinances and modifications to CA HOBR, non-judicial foreclosures under Civ. Code 2924 et seq., and evictions under CCP 1161.
