Job Title: Estimation Specialist
Location: Canton, MI
Hourly Rate: $30- $34
Based in Canton, we are a leading, innovative automation technology company. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are hiring a Estimation Specialist that possesses strong experience with quotes for consulting companies
Responsibilities:
Consistently exhibit exceptional customer service by fusing sales, product, system, and problem-solving expertise to surpass customers' expectations.
Collect proposals, schematics and drawings, specifications, and relevant documentation to prepare the job that will be estimated.
Provide estimates for consulting projects ranging in complexity from low to high in a way that maintains our services' competitiveness and optimizes profit.
Compute the project's overall cost, including account labor, materials, time, and travel. Examine internal procedures to make sure they are effective.

When necessary, collaborate across departments to guarantee precise pricing and lead times.
Follow up on quotes with the sales team and adjust them as needed.
Maintain contact with clients at all tiers, including the C-Suite
Travel is only required the first 3 months of employment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in project quoting (consulting)
Experience quoting consulting services and installations projects from 40k - 1.1 million
Familiar with industrial machinery, robotics, milling, CNC, and testing equipment
SAP knowledge preferred
Familiarity with safety standards such as ANSI, B11.19, and NFPA79
