Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy new methods to extract insights from large, complex datasets.
- Engage in best practices of documentation.
- Develop models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and classification problems.
- Translate software product features into data science problems.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement data science models at scale.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data science, statistics, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Strong mathematical and statistical reasoning skills.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Self-directed, adaptable, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical work to non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating detailed documentation and customized mathematical models.
Education and Certifications:
- PhD in a quantitative field preferred, with a focus on Mathematics, Astrophysics, or Physics.
