Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer - Manufacturing
Location: Chesterfield, MO - ON-SITE -
Salary: $75,000-$90,000 - Depending on Experience -
Requirements: 3+ years as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, High-Volume Manufacturing, 5s, LEAN/Six-Sigma, KPI, SOP's, ERP systems, Kaizen, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Technical Degree preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- You will lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, increasing productivity, and optimizing processes across the plant.
- Analyzes current production processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Lean manufacturing practices, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Collaborate with leadership and plant personnel to create a culture of continuous improvement, providing training and support where needed.
- Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that improvements are measurable and sustained.
Needs for this role:
- 3+ years as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, or related roles
- Bachelor's or technical degree preferred in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering
- Experience with Lean/Six-Sigma (belt preferred), Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping
- Writing SOP's, KPI data driven, process improvement, statistical analysis, high volume production
- Ability to grow into leadership role, comfortable with ERP systems
