The Asphalt Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operations of two asphalt plants located in San Diego County. This includes managing production, maintenance, personnel, and all other facets of plant operations and production to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable plant performance.
Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily production of asphalt ensuring quality and quantity meet organizational and customer requirements.
- Optimize plant performance through continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly environmental and safety standards.
- Implement and maintain efficient workflows and processes to optimize production and minimize costs.
- Manage use of material inventories to ensure proper supply of all necessary materials.
Requirement:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt plant operations or a related industry.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to asphalt production.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
