Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant position is responsible for performing administrative and clerical duties for the company. This position will handle a variety of tasks for the organization, from handling customer service inquiries to supporting the project management team. The Administrative Assistant will be the face of the company to customers, clients, and vendors. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide office services, including answering phone calls, filing documents, managing customer inquiries and complaints, and handling general office duties.
Prepare and organize company documents and reports.
File and maintain records, manually or on a computer.
Gather, compile, and analyze data for reports.
Create spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Update and maintain databases using Microsoft Access.
Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word.
Use Microsoft Outlook to manage emails and calendar events.
Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) to create and upload training materials.
Use project management software to manage projects.
Serve as a point of contact for customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook.
Knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional appearance and attitude.
