What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare various types of tax returns in a timely and efficient manner
- Understand and assist in the implementation of client business objectives
- Summarize complex financial information into professional financial reports
- Evaluate facts, research tax rules and conclude in writing regarding the appropriate tax and accounting plan
- Prepare client correspondence including tax recommendations
- Prepare tax correspondence to the IRS and State tax agencies
- Keeps up to date with new tax laws
- Manage projects and budgets to achieve timely completion
- Evaluate new tax programs and tax work flow options
What You Need for this Position
- Minimum of two years' experience in public accounting environment
- Certified or qualified to sit for the CPA exam
- Proven ability to meet assignment objectives (deadlines, budgets, outcomes)
- Public accounting experience is a plus
