What You Will Be Doing

The Senior Developer will contribute to software development projects by developing features and maintaining software applications, review and deploy quality code, submit code for evaluation from Engineering team members via use of a version control tool, and attend weekly meetings with management to review progress on development plans. The Senior Engineer is expected to mentor junior developers and provide feedback on their code. We are a heavy backend Ruby on Rails and Agile environment.

What You Need for this Position

- 5+ years' experience in a Senior or Lead developer role required
- 1-3+ years' Ruby On Rails experience ideal, or in lieu of RoR experience, true Lead development understanding through experience okay
- Experience with version control tools required
- Experience with test driven development required; preferably Rspec
- Modern web app development experience required; preferably JavaScript
- Database development required; SQL or NoSQL okay
- Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) is helpful but not a must
- Docker experience preferred
