We're in the hunt for highly talented Sr C/C++ Engineers to expand our team working on building C++ Desktop applications for Windows that are cross platform and will be ported to Mac + Linux etc. We're looking for a senior software engineer to help us build the windows client application for our popular live streaming platform. As a FT Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing high quality code to meet our high quality standards.
Our application is open source and interacts with multiple other external dependencies, often open source as well. Part of your mission will be to gain deep knowledge in all sub repositories and be able to maintain and improve them. In addition to that, your goal will be to add new features for our users, improve the performance of the application and its stability.
What You Need for this Position
- We're building C++ Desktop applications for Windows that are cross platform and will be ported to Mac + Linux
- We need strong C++ developers who are like building VC++ client side / desktop applications
- We're using Electron as our main framework
- We're using Visual Studio as the IDE
- We'd like candidates to have exposure to VC++ and CMAKE
- Any experience w/ streaming or video or video streaming or MPEG or other common video formats is a plus but not required
- Have you used Electron, or QT or similar cross platform framework?
- Experience using git

- Will know how to package software (DLL)
Bonus:
- Experience with JavaScript/NodeJS
- Experience with Electron
- Experience in video encoding specifically with the H264 codec
- Familiarity with content creation
- Experience with video streaming
