An established and rapidly growing National IT Solutions Provider specializing in Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Security, Wireless and other Advanced technologies has a full time opportunity for a Principal Network Architect to join the Data Center & Cloud Networking Team.
The current need is for a Senior / Lead Network Architect who has strong Enterprise Networking and Data Center experience. Must have extensive ACI design and deployment experience as well as Automation skills.
***This is a full time position, with the opportunity to work remotely from home when not in front of clients (minimal travel).
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading initiatives for designing and deploying Data Center Networks utilizing industry best practices and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus 9k platforms.
- Developing and performing migration from traditional data center network designs to Cisco ACI.
- Participate in the design, implementation and administration of Cisco infrastructure and related solutions
- Design, plan and implement complex Data Center Networks
- Provide advanced technical leadership for challenging and complex projects
- Assist in determining specific customer network requirements
- Work with Automation tools and concepts
- Able to work in fast paced, complex environments
What You Need for this Position
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Enterprise level networks
- Strong experience with Cisco SDN / ACI
- Must have Network Automation experience
- Strong skills with Cisco R&S Networking Solutions
- Data Center Network Design and Implementation
- Professional Services Experience working for another VAR or in a customer facing role
- Active CCNP and/ or CCIE in R&S or Enterprise Infrastructure is highly desired
- Strong familiarity in other areas like Network Security, Data Center, and/ or UC is highly sought
