What You Will Be Doing
- Designer shall work in a team environment to develop accurate, constructible, coordinated, and timely plumbing system models with other building trades
- A plumbing designer will also be responsible for providing accurate shop drawings that support the construction team
- The designer will report to the modeling supervisor
- Ensure Integral design checklist is being followed
- Prepare engineering calculations, equipment sizing and equipment selection
- Provide construction administration services
- Compile design reports and presentations
What You Need for this Position
- 5+ years experience
- Ability to QC work of plumbing engineering staff
- Perform life cycle cost analyses, and energy/cost calculations for plumbing systems
- Designing plumbing systems for various commercial
- Assist the Project Manager with developing fees, add services, and overseeing the project design
- Design documents
- Working knowledge of various codes including but not limited to IPC, UPC and CPC
- Code compliance research
