What You Need for this Position
- MSEE & 7+ years of Physical Design, Place & Route, Integration, Static Timing Analysis (STA) & Physical Verification experience
- Block-level floor planning, placement, routing, powe planning, timing closure, clock-tree synthesis, LVS/DRC/ERC, ECOs (signoff & engineering change orders) experience
- PPA optimization through floor-planning, placement & timing constraints, useful skew, etc.
- Cadence EDA experience - i.e. Quantus, Innovus, Conformal, Tempus, etc.)
- Scripting (i.e. Shell, awk, sed, Python, etc.) for process automation
- Start up mentality & team player!
What You Will Be Doing
- Block-level Place & Route & implementation to meet and exceed timing / area & power requirements
- Driver of clock tree planning & implementation, achieving best energy, performance, area
- Resolving design & flow issues around physical design, identification of potential solutions, driving through successful execution
- Working closely with Timing / Synthesis team, ensuring design closure
- Managing quality deliverables for executing excellence in physical design
