What You Will Be Doing
This role is responsible for originating quality mortgage loans that meet all company guidelines by building relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, credit union branches, past customers and other business networking sources.
***GENERATING YOUR OWN LEADS***
-Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility in the marketplace
-Demonstrates effective face to face communications, telephone interaction, and written communications. Responds in a clear, concise manner, using appropriate mode of communication
-Deliver presentations to promote company products to realtors, builders, and financial professionals to generate quality mortgage leads
-Represents the company in community activities in a positive, professional image in order to promote the development of mortgage department
-Counsels members regarding services to maintain quality member/owner service, knowledge, and satisfaction, and achieve established sales goals and objectives.
-Coordinates loan registration and documentation to ensure proper and timely processing; works with mortgage software system as necessary.
-Monitors and updates loan information requested by mortgage processors to keep files accurate and current
-Provides timely feedback to appropriate parties to facilitate accurate decision making.
What You Need for this Position
Active NMLS license for OR/WA
At least 2 years of loan officer experience with residential mortgage
Knowledge and understanding of debt-to-income ratios and reviewing credit reports
Prior sales experience a plus
