**This is a hybrid position with two days onsite per week in the McLean, VA area.
What You Will Be Doing
Our client is going through a large scale modernization/transformation. They are updating their tech stack to include Java, Spring Boot, Angular (6+), Docker, Jenkins, NoSQL (Mongo specifically), microservices, and AWS. They are also going to a modern delivery (CI/CD pipeline) approach. As well as incorporating Test Driven Development methods. They're looking for java backend or java fullstack developers to add to the team to assist with this project.
What You Need for this Position
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
Required Technical Skills:
-Java and Spring (3+ years)
-Angular JS, JavaScript
-Database development
Communication and Adaptability
-Should have excellent communication skills and willing to work in a team of motivated software engineers
-Willing to get the holistic view and adapt/align technical deliverables with the business requirements
Operation and Technology
-Review and optimize application architecture
-Support existing operational items and gracefully transition to the new technology stack
-Lead technical implementation and designing effort
