What You Will Be Doing
"Serve as the engineering lead for plan/specification, design/assist, and/or design/build projects greater than $5M
" Navigate and evaluate construction documents, equipment cut sheets, and schematic diagrams from all disciplines, to identify the electrical scope of work and how the installations of other disciplines will affect the electrical installation
" Utilize AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks to modify/create project specific installation documents.
" Lead the complete project or portion of the project depending on the project size in the BIM Coordination for the electrical scope to ensure that we have enough space and that our installation is as efficient as possible while allowing the other trades the space that they need to perform their work
" Participate in the early identification of installations that are best suited to be pre-fabricated, and work with our Spooling Manager to coordinate how those assemblies are to be modeled and constructed
" Work with PayneCrest internal customers along with external customers and vendors to gather information to be incorporated into the design to assure that the design is complete and presented to the field to allow for ease of installation
" Provide mentorship to entry level engineering team members
What You Need for this Position
Minimum Qualifications:
" Four year engineering degree
" Professional Engineering (PE) License - Missouri preferred
" 5 years of experience designing industrial and commercial electrical systems with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks through version 2020
" Intermediate to Expert level experience with all required software applications for design and engineering (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office suite)
" Excellent written and oral communication skills with colleagues and clients
" Team oriented
" Willingness to travel if needed for projects
