Seeking a Budget & Outcomes Analyst to build financial proposals, translate proposals into actionable budgets, and produce reports to measure progress against the budgets. Ensure allocation of expenses against grant budgets in compliance with grant terms and ensure the reports are maintained in the company's accounting system. This role will review audience metrics, and other Key Opinion Leaders (KOL).
What You Will Be Doing
Success will rely heavily on strong data management skills, analytical and automation skills, knowledge of grant management, financial accounting and cost principles.
Prepare program budgets and financial reports with a complete and thorough understanding of the funding source and operational requirements.
Assist with grant closeout procedures in accordance with regulations - reconcile and close grants on a timely basis.
Review and analyze KOLs including audience demographics and educational outcomes
Must be proficient in and be able to prepare accurate grant proposals and budgets
Provide accurate budget comparison and make recommendations for budget modifications
What You Need for this Position
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
3 to 5 years developing grant budgets and reports with both large and small institutional funders.
2+ years retrieving and providing data analysis using SQL
2+ years data preparation, modeling, and reporting using Microsoft Power BI or Tableau or similar program
Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or Essbase
Working knowledge of intermediate accounting and grant compliance procedures.
Ability to analyze and monitor financial statements, budgets and other financial reports.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, and/or regulations.
Must have superior computer skills with expert level Excel.
