What You Will Be Doing
· Execute the month-end accounting close process and accurately produce financial statements, KPIs, and the company's management reporting package.
· Provide detailed variance analysis explaining actual results versus budget and forecasts.
· Ensure accurate cost accounting is implemented and adhered to.
· Timely management and coordination of the company's accounts payable & receivables functions to include issue resolution and collections management.
· Fixed asset system accounting and reporting.
· Assist in the annual plan and forecasts as directed.
· Review of sales and use tax returns.
· Ensuring imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed.
· Account reconciliations and account analysis.
· Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards, maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial and accounting procedures.
· Provide Corporate Annual Audit support.
· Implement operational best practices to streamline finance & accounting functions and processes ensuring accurate and timely financial statement preparation.
· Provide business support and value-added services to management across company
· Interpret and validate data as well as troubleshooting, discovering, and analyzing data and data discrepancies.
· Participate in / lead special projects as defined by the Controller.
What You Need for this Position
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
- Oracle NetSuite (Plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Word, PP
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to automate/streamline processes and reporting using systems
- Functional skills in finance
