What You Will Be Doing
- Supports in selling new business and bring in new accounts in the commercial insurance space
- Know you clients' business operations and needs
- Responsible for kicking off the renewal process by doing extensive reviews of coverage as needed
- Craft marketing strategies to drive in new business
- On going education, keeping up with industry trends, products types
- Manage a large book while maintaining carrier relationships
- Emerging market & middle market
- Being a hunter of new business at all times
What You Need for this Position
- Experience in insurance or related industry based on what type of accounts we are looking to bring on (construction being an example)
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience leading and developing people
- Travel may be required based on book of business
- Applied Epic experience will be considered a plus
- Ability to delegate and hold team & partners accountable
