If you are a Senior Tax Accountant with Property Tax experience, please read on!
You will be responsible for oversight of property-level finance and accounting including, but not limited to, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis and annual budget preparation. The position requires close coordination and collaboration with peers, Property Operations, Development, Senior Leadership and the ability to serve in tactical roles, as appropriate, to support the Controller in acquisition, debt, and other financial analyses.

What You Will Be Doing
-Demonstrates full understanding of the annual property tax cycle on a National level
-Builds awareness/understanding of jurisdictional rules and filing requirements.
-Demonstrates an ability to collect, review and fully understand client-provided data.
-Inspects properties and prepares appropriate reports deemed necessary by management.
-Analyzes assessment notices and determines potential assessment reductions.
-Contests the asset value to reduce property taxes.
-Attends client status calls and meetings and provides supporting data and findings for the leadership team.
-Works effectively with clients by taking an interest in the clients industry and inquiring about trends and processes to gain a full understanding of their core business
-Interacts and communicates effectively with clients & team members
What You Need for this Position
More Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of:
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
-National property tax Administration or Account Management
-Minimum of five (5) years of experience; prior experience in property tax consulting or corporate property tax department preferred
-Analytical, flexible, detail-oriented, and ability to organize daily work volumes and multiple, competing priorities
-Self-starter with the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
-Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications
