Systems Team Lead - Managed Services, Data Center, Microsoft

The Systems Team Lead will support and grow our managed services offerings. You will be expected to assist with cloud-based backup, problem remediation, and infrastructure management. General responsibilities to include:

- Serve as technical lead for a Managed Services Systems Administration team
- Ensure resolution of customer support and incident requests
- Assist with escalation for supported technologies (ranging from virtualization, disaster recovery, storage, cloud, Active Directory and more)
- Oversee change requests including configuration changes, patching, system upgrades, and other relevant admin activities
- Collaborate with customers during onboarding process
- Contribute to procurement, selection, testing and implementation of technologies/tools we offer and provide
- Mentor junior team members

Qualified candidates will possess a strong track record of experience in an Enterprise Data Center. Ideal candidates will posses as much of the following expertise as possible:

- 5+ years of professional experience with physical servers
- 5+ years of professional experience with virtualization technologies
- 3+ years of professional experience with SAN/storage arrays
- 3+ years of professional experience with data protection platforms
- 3+ years of professional experience with cloud and identity management solutions

Strong Microsoft experience including:

- 5+ years of professional experience with Active Directory Domain Services
- 5+ years of professional experience with Office 365 suite
- 3+ years of professional experience with Exchange Server
- 3+ years of professional experience with Azure

Other preferences include:

- Familiarity of remote monitoring/management systems (MS System Center Suite, ConnectWise, Kaseya, Solarwinds, etc.)
- Strong customer-facing experience and communication skills

- Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000
- Ability to work from home 2 days/week
