What You Will Be Doing
- Assist with quantity take-offs, bidding, and estimating
- Assist in Contract Creation
- Assist with Subcontractor/Vendor Coordination
- Assist Project Superintendents with record-keeping and office work
- Responsible for Submittals and coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants
- Responsible for RFIs and maintaining up-to-date plans
- Assist and/or lead project scheduling and weekly updates
- Implement company safety protocols
- Assist with cost control and change order management
- Assist and/or lead project meetings.
- Assist with Project close-out
- Provide Misc. Back Office Support for Projects as needed
- Support Procurement Manager as needed
- Support Project Managers as needed
- Effective Liaison between office and field
- Special QC projects as needed
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field of study
- 1+ years of GC-level experience in construction (preferably, with experience on ground up wood frame, podium, and other Type I projects)
- Working knowledge of construction and project management software
- Extensive computer knowledge: Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), internet and e-mail
